Section 504 is federally funded program designed to protect kids in the regular classroom and a for all kids to have an equal opportunity to learn.  Section 504 includes kids with any kind of mitigating issue that might affect his/her performance in the classroom. Beginning in the late spring, we will be meeting with all 8th grade Section 504 parents for a transition meeting to ensure everything is set for high school. Be looking for your invitation to join the meeting after spring break.
